Principal-Fired-For-Spelling

This can’t be life! A New Jersey school principal was recently reassigned after a sign outside of her school was posted and left standing for three days that misspelled the words December and Progress Report.

Photos of the sign — whose magnetized letters spelled out “Dicember 2014” and “progress reepor” — were circulated on social media and to school board members by Corey Teague, another board member. Teague said he did not want the principal, Antoinette Young, disciplined, but only wanted to draw attention to a situation that needed to be addressed.

Young was already under review for unrelated performance issues, NorthJersey.com also reported.

The lettering was placed by a custodian and the sign was near an entrance not normally used by staff, officials said.

Reading truly is fundemental…
