Yesterday, Sony decided to release The Interview on Christmas day in select theaters after pulling the movie due to hacker threats. The decision not to release the controversial film caused backlash from the movie industry, fans, actors and even President Obama.
But in a last minute decision, Sony decided to release the movie in about 300 theaters, as opposed to the 3,000, which was originally planned.
We’ve gathered the list of locations in North Carolina that will be showing the movie starting tomorrow. The only one playing in the Triangle is in Durham at Northgate Stadium 10.
