Victor Hampton, defensive-back for the Baltimore Ravens was arrested in Charlotte Saturday, during CIAA weekend. According to North Carolina Highway Patrol, the 22-year-old was caught speeding and is facing DWI, reckless driving and open container charges.

Reports stated a trooper clocked Hampton’s convertible Camaro traveling 100 mph in a 55 mph zone near Westinghouse Boulevard around 12:26 a.m. and pulled the vehicle over near Arrowood Road. Hampton’s blood-alcohol level was an outstanding 0.10 when North Carolina’s legal limit is 0.08. He was immediately booked and taken into Mecklenburg County jail in which he posted bond shortly after.

Investigators reported two other passengers were arrested along with Hampton and were identified as Maurice Thomas and Jamel Cadet. They were attempting to conceal their weapons under the seat when the trooper approached the vehicle. The guns were confiscated and carrying a concealed weapon charges were added to their consuming alcohol and container charges. Hampton has since been cut by the team.
