Jay Z‘s new high-fidelity streaming service, TIDAL, will launch today. He acquired the service in February of this year as part of a $56 million dollar deal with the Scandinavian platform Aspiro.

The 45-year-old rapper/entrepreneur will release details of the service in a 5 p.m. press conference. Per TIDAL’s website, this service is labeled as “the first music streaming service that combines the best High Fidelity sound quality, High Definition music videos and expertly Curated Editorial.”

TIDAL offers two paid subscription options: $19.99 a month for high-fidelity audio, and $9.99 for standard quality audio. Listeners can also enjoy TIDAL directly from the web.

Several big name artist have shown their support by switching their social media icons to a light blue square with hashtag #TIDALForAll somewhere on their page.

TIDAL joins various other popular streaming services such as Spotify, Rdio, Amazon and Pandora.
