Recently, Roseanne Barr explained in an interview with The Daily Beast that her frequent use of marijuana aids in relieving her of pain caused by macular degeneration and glaucoma. Although the drug alleviates some of the pressure, Roseanne says that the condition will eventually result in blindness.
The comedian also adds that she enjoys the way cannabis it releases us from “mind control” and opens up the mind. “You’re like…wow, you’re in awe. You look up into the stars. It makes you wonder. It doesn’t close that down.”
Barr went on to discuss, her 2012 documentary Roseanne For President! The film will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival. Barr is not excited at the idea of having Hillary Clinton as a potential candidate for presidency.
“I think that a party that was woman-friendly would be revolutionary, and that party could be headed by a male or female,” she said. “It’s what the party itself stands for that matters.”
