After Caitlyn Jenner announced that she’d be transitioning back in April, she’s kind of taken the world by storm. She received the Authur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPY’s this year and was also named as Glamour’s Woman of the Year last month. The Olympian has been inundated with compliments about how brave she is for transitioning in the public eye, however, the average trans person is not impressed at all by what many are championing as bravery. Trans protesters feel as though Caitlyn is a misrepresentation of all women. While Cait lives in a mansion and has a net worth of millions of dollars, the average trans person has a 41 percent chance of experiencing homelessness and a nearly 50 percent chance of living off less than $10K per year.

So we have to ask, do you think this transformation was for publicity?
