The NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton picked up an award for Outstanding Motion Picture at the 47th annual NAACP Image Awards on Friday.

Ice Cube and director F. Gary Gray took the stage with other casts members from the flick to accept the award.

Also, Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson Jr. picked up an award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role in the movie that earned over $200 million at the box office and became the highest grossing movie from an African American director ever.

Other big winners at the NAACP Image Awards included Pharrell Williams, Queen Latifah, Jill Scott, and John Legend, who was honored with the NAACP President’s Award for his humanitarian efforts. A full list of winners can be found here.
