Golden State Warriors’ PG Stephen Curry has been named the 2015-16 NBA MVP. This is Curry’s second consecutive year receiving the honor, and he’s the 13th player to be named MVP multiple times. Curry was substantially better this season than his first MVP season, averaging 30.1 PPG while shooting 50.4% from the field and 45.4% from three point range. He also averaged 6.7 AST, 5.4 REB, and a league-leading 2.1 STL per game, while also leading the league in free-throw percentage. Curry led the Warriors to an NBA- record 73-9 season, an incredible achievement. Lastly, Curry completely shattered his own record for most three-pointers made in a season, totaling 402 despite the previous record being only 286. Congrats to Stephen Curry!!
