The Billboard Music Awards aired last night (May 22nd), and everyone was on the edge of their seats wondering how Madonna’s tribute to Prince would go. Well, judging from social media reactions, the tribute was a total fail, that even the legendary Stevie Wonder could save.
Even BET got in on the shade action by posting a video — that may go down in history — with the caption, “Yeah, we saw that. Don’t worry. We got you.”
Prince would be proud of the shade displayed, but BET better really come through now, or the internet will show no mercy.
The BET Awards airs live from L.A. on June 26th.
