A video that shows a Durham police officer taking some time to dance with children in the Oakley Square Apartments has become a viral sensation.
The video shows Officer Sawyer Crossan hitting the Whip and Nae Nae with a group of school-aged children in the neighborhood. WRAL reports that Officer Crossan saw the kids while he was on patrol and decided to join in on he fun. He said “They started talking to me, asking about my police gear and started playing some music.
Once Officer Crossan started dancing with the kids some of the other residents in the neighborhood came out to join in on the fun.
