The New York Knicks have acquired point guard Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2017 2nd-round pick from the Chicago Bulls, in exchange for Ccenter Robin Lopez, point guard Jerian Grant and point guard Jose Calderon. Rose, the 2010-11 NBA MVP, has a lengthy injury history, but managed to stay relatively healthy with the Bulls this past season.
The Knicks are getting a major upgrade at point guard in Rose with this deal, and so ends well-documented Derrick Rose era in Chicago.
