The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed PG Russell Westbrook to a max 3yr/ $85 million contract extension. Westbrook, 27, is now ready to take over as the undisputed face of the franchise in Oklahoma City following Durant’s departure. He averaged 24.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and 10.9 assists per game last season, and has the potential to put up huge numbers as the Thunder’s top scoring option.
