Joe Budden stopped by Hot 97, and then suddenly left after being annoyed by interviewers, Ebro, and Rosenberg.

Before he up and left, he cleared the air on how his beef started with Drake. Take a look at a few excerpts below.

“It’s been a non-issue for me,” said Joe. “It’s been dead for me. At this point, it’s the fans and the media that’s keeping this going. I don’t have any more bars for him. Well, I do.”

“I had a grand presentation to get to, but he ruined it. I couldn’t get to the end because he kept DMing me.”

“I didn’t say I would ruin Drake. Drake is a superstar, a pop superstar. He has transcended hip-hop. There’s nothing that anybody in hip-hop can do singlehandedly to ruin him. Nobody’s oblivious to that.”

After Budden finished discussing Drake is when things started to take a turn for the worst, while discussing his podcast, “I’ll Name this Podcast Later.” Tension rose as Budden was questioned about firing Hot 97 employee, and podcast co-host Marisa Mendez and his issue with Ebro in the Morning Co-host, Rosenberg.

“Next time I come here for an interview, send my manager the talk points,” he said. “I didn’t know that this would be a complete waste of time.”
