What a week for Hip Hop legends A Tribe Called Quest. Their new album took the number one spot on the Billboard top 200 charts this week. This is the group’s second number one album. The album moved over 135,000 units, 112,000 of them in traditional sales.
Over the weekend the intersection of 192nd St and Linden Blvd was officially named after ATCQ member Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor who died from diabetes related complications earlier this year.
