Gov. Roy Cooper has declared a State of Emergency for all 100 counties in North Carolina. The Winter National Weather Service has extended a winter weather advisory through Tuesday to warn residents about hazardous travel conditions.
Drivers should be careful because black ice will be a problem in the area for the next few days.
