Rapper Jeezy is being accused of walking away with over $30,000 that belonged to a party promoter in Houston, TX. According to the promoter, Jeezy charged $60,000 for a performance that he never showed up to. Darryl Austin is Jeezy because he says that he gave Jeezy a $30,000 deposit but Jeezy didn’t show up to a party because he was in Atlanta for an album release party.

According to Austin he booked Jeezy for December 9, 2016 and rented a venue, paid for radio and sold thousands of tickets but Jeezy did a no show and refused to return the money that he was paid. Austin says that Jeezy actually asked him to pay more for his performance and increase the fee to $80,000 for a one hour show. Austin says that he felt like he had no choice but to pay the new fee that Jeezy charged him, but at the last minute Jeezy decided not to come to Houston because of the event in Atlanta.

He is suing for over $100,000 in compensatory and punitive damages for breach of contract, fraud, and more in addition to return of his $30,000 deposit
