A huge fire is currently impacting the downtown Raleigh area. According to WRAL an apartment building that is currently under construction went up in flames Thursday night. The building is on the corner of West and North streets and close by the Glenwood South restaurant district. Police and fire officials have shut down Glenwood Avenue as they try to get the fire under control.

Some people are reporting that the nearby building that used to be a Greyhound bus station also caught on fire.
