Viewers of the hit OWN TV show “Queen Sugar” are getting anxious, but they won’t have to wait much longer. The show will be returning to the airwaves with a two-night premiere on Tuesday June 20 and Wednesday June 21 at 10pm.
This time the Bordelon sibling’s turmoil continues as they struggle to move forward with their lives and honor the legacy of their late father.
Once again film-making pioneer Ava Duvernay’s assembled an all-female directing team for season two including: Kat Candler (“12 Monkeys”), DeMane Davis (“Lift”), Cheryl Dunye (“Stranger Inside”), Aurora Guerrero (“Mosquita y Mari,”) and Amanda Marsalis (“Echo Park”), with additional names to be announced.
The first season of the show is now available on Hulu OWN will air a Queen Sugar marathon on Monday 29th and Sunday June 18
