The New York Knicks have decided to part ways with NBA legend Phil Jackson. The team announced earlier today that Jackson is leaving his role as President of Basketball Operations after a very tumultuous time there over the last few seasons. Last year alone Jackson had clashes with Carmelo Anthony and fan favorite Kristaps Porzingis.

Long time Knick fans like Kenyon Martin, Fat Joe, and Steven A. Smith had been calling for the organization to let Jackson go for a long time. Now it seems that the powers that be are taking the fans advice.
