Rapper Yung Mazi Shot And Killed In Atlanta

Sad news out of Atlanta. Rapper Yung Mazi was shot and killed on Sunday night according to police reports.

Atlanta police responded to reports of shots fired intersection of Oakview Road and Hosea L. Williams Drive, outside a restaurant called Urban Pie, at around 8:55 p.m. Mazi had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died on the scene.

Police Lieutenant Ricardo Vasquez told a local news station that he felt like Mazi was targeted and there were no other intended victims at the scene of the crime.

Mazi was affiliated with Kevin Gate’s BWA crew.

Mazi had previously been injured in a shooting at a Waffle House in the Buckhead area of Atlanta on December 27, 2016. Before his death, Mazi had been associated with Kevin Gates’s Breadwinners’ Association.
