Justin Timberlake recently revealed that he will be performing for Super Bowl 52, which has had a lot of people talking. Everyone seems to now be wondering what this means for Janet Jackson’s status with the league, since she hasn’t worked with the NFL since her costume malfunction in 2004.
TMZ spoke with NFL representatives and confirmed that there is NOT a ban against Janet Jackson performing during NFL events, which has left us wondering if she will be a guest during Justin’s performance this year?
When asked about the potential of Janet Jackson performing with Justin this year the NFL spokesperson told TMZ, “We are not going to comment on any speculation regarding potential guests. There may be no guests. Along with Pepsi, we’re excited to have Justin Timberlake.”
The representative didn’t technically give a “no” so every Janet lover in the country is hoping and wishing she will make her return to the Super Bowl stage!
