We all know today’s society is centered around technology, and kids are gaining access to the internet at very young ages. Facebook’s Public Policy Director says, “Children today are online earlier and earlier. They use family-shared devices – and many, as young as six or seven years old, even have their own.”
This is why Facebook is introducing a new messenger app where children ages 6-12 can message and communicate with family members. There is reportedly no ads on the app and parents will not have to worry about their children’s information being used. The company also says that there will be age appropriate GIFS, stickers, and frames that will be pre-loaded.
Sounds like a pretty okay idea to me, Live Squad. What y’all think?
