Oprah is making history again, as she will be accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award! She will be the first ever African-American woman to receive the Gloden Globe Award. This was announced on Wednesday by the 2012 winner of the award, Morgan Freeman.
According to Variety Magazine, the recipient is chosen by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, each year. The honoree is said to embody, “an incredible impact on the world of entertainment.”
