Anita Baker has blessed us with a number of soulful records that we still enjoy today, but it seems like the legend is hanging up her musical shoes! She announced that she will be retiring from her long musical career in 2018.
However, you know Aunty Anita is not about to just leave us without giving us what we want. So, she will be having a farewell concert series that is set to begin in March. Official tour dates have not yet been released, but we do know she will be singing at the New Orleans Jazz & Hertitage festival, taking place this spring!
We are all pretty sad that we wont be hearing any new songs from Anita Baker but we also know that she has worked extremely hard to provide us with great music for years!
I will definitely be buying tickets to her final tour as soon as they are released. Do ya’ll plan on being there to witness the greatness of Mrs. Anita Baker, Live Squad?
