For a long time now, we have heard multiple allegations about Birdman skipping out on paying people, including some of his artists. Well, looks like Lil Wayne wasn’t the only one looking for him to cough up some cash, because he’s been taken to court!
The Blast reported documents, Wednesday, that revealed the rap mogul has been ordered by a judge to give up the keys to his $12 million home, in Miami. A company by the name of EMG Tranfser Agent says that Birdman took out a $12 million dollar loan and has not made his payments. The Cash Money mogul’s house was originally $14 million, when he put it up as collateral for the loan. However, since the courts ruled that EMG Transfer Agent get their money, the mansion will now be controlled by a court appointed representative.
The house has 7 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, with a fully functioning theater. Supposedly, there’s even gold chairs on his foyer! Yes, I said gold chairs! The mansion is now up for grabs, but if it doesn’t sale its likely that all the furniture, fixtures, and equipment will be sold piece by piece.
