Thursday, Amazon announced that they have sorted through over 238 proposals and have narrowed down their list of potential locations for their second headquarters! And guess what live Squad! Raleigh made the cut!
Even though Raleigh is on the list with some pretty major cities, like Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York, and does have the smallest population, out of the 20 finalist, the city still remains in the running for consideration.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed, because getting the online retailer’s headquarters would bring a promise of 50,000 new jobs, to the area! The company has said that they will be making a final decision sometime this year, so keep checking in for updates!
