Monday Morning, at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, in D.C., former president, Barack Obama, and his wife, Michelle Obama, unveiled their presidential portraits!

During the revealing of the paintings, Barack sent high praises to the painter, Amy Sherald, giving her a big thank you for “capturing the hotness of the woman I love.”

Kehinde Wiley, the artist behind Barack Obama’s portrait, incorporated Chicago’s official flower and African blue lilies to honor the rich heritage of the former president and his upbringing.

Steven Spielburg and Tom Hanks were among the firsts to see the painting, Monday. However, the painting will be available to public, in the “America’s Presidents” exhibition, begining Tuesday.
