It has been a while that we have been waiting to hear some new music from Lil Wayne and the anticipation for “tha Carter V” is definitely getting real! Well, according to Birdman the wait is almost over!
We all know the album has been repeatedly pushed back due to some issues between the long time music partners. Well while promoting his documentary, “Before Anythang: The Cash Money Story,” Birdman spoke with RapUp and said “We’ll get that this year. I’m guaranteeing you gon’ get it this year.” He couldn’t give specifics on exactly when the album will be released, but he did say “that’s on tunechi, whatever he wants to do, but I’m guaranteeing you’re gonna get it this year.”
He did say that he’s heard a few tracks from the upcoming project and he said “I think it’s gonna be the biggest album of 2018!”
