There has been a lot of #blackexcellence in the film industry, so its no surprise that we’ve all been wondering when Tyler Perry was going to pop back up on the scene, with something new for us. Well, it looks like the Madea creator has something cooking up for us and this time he has enlisted Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, and our girl Tiffany Haddish to play starring roles!
According to Deadline, the film will be named “The List” and is anticipated to be released later this year. The movie synopsis explains that “when her wild sister (Haddish) gets released from prison and re-enters her life, Danica (Sumpter) is forced to accept that she may be getting ‘catfished’ by an online boyfriend whom she has never met in person.”
Tyler Perry will be both the producer and director for the film, which will be under Paramount Players. It is set to hit theaters September 14th! Are ya’ll hype about the return of Tyler Perry with this one, Live Squad?
