A new house bill in NC has been filed and if voted on and passed the state laws concerning marijuana possession will change dramatically.
The bill is allow anyone possessing 4 ounces or less of weed to avoid misdemeanor or felony charges. The bill won’t only be helping individuals in the future, however. Individuals previously charged with possession of 4 or less ounces, will have the opportunity to petition the court in order to clean their criminal records.
