New York is about to pay up for years of allowing people to live under horrible conditions in the city’s housing projects.
According to NY Post authorities announced Monday the de Blasio administration has reached a settlement in a federal probe to the tune of $2.2 billion. The federal complaint says that the city’s housing authority violates “basic health and safety regulations” set forth by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
