Rapper YG is putting up some big bucks to invest in young women. He is helping out girls who are looking to pursue opportunities in technology by donating $150k to Compton based Girl Code LA. He delivered a check to the organization on Wednesday to help with their mission of exposing young women to careers in science, business, and software engineering.
He told TMZ “With my donation, I hope they’ll be able to expand their reach of future female coders and programmers. I want to make sure I’m doing my part. I got a daughter and I respect the G Code.”
He also hooked the ladies up with brand new Beats By Dre headphones.
