Remember when Fox News host Laura Ingraham told Lebron James to “shut up and dribble,” instead of offering up their political views? Well, James is flipping Ingraham’s insult, and turning it into his next television project.
James is set to executive produce “Shut Up and Dribble,” a three-part series on “NBA players who have used their on-court stardom to impact the worlds of business and fashion and sometimes stake a claim to part of the political conversation.”
David Nevins, the president and CEO of Showtime talked about the series and said, “If being a star athlete is inherently a political experience, Shut Up and Dribble tells that complex and dramatic story from the past to the present and from the inside out.”
