If you haven’t heard, allegedly Cardi B and Nicki got in a altercation. Now, granted people are like as women of color in a male dominated industry this was wrong. Then again based off of the statement Cardi B posted on IG, saying:

” I let a lot of shit slide. I let you sneak diss, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, fuck up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop fuckin with them! I let you talk big shit about me!! I addressed you once in person, and every time you copped the plea! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are fuckin off! …”

I know you read that in Cardi’s voice, but her statement makes a justified argument (maybe why I’m not a lawyer). As a mother myself, I remember when I was pregnant and I grabbed a chick by her collar for saying, “fuck you and yo…” and needless to say, she never got the rest of that statement out. That day she learned, kids are ultimately where you draw the line.
