Netflix has canceled the hit series “Luke Cage”. This is the second Marvel show that has been cancelled in two weeks. Earlier this month Netflix pulled the plug on “Iron Fist after two seasons.
Netflix execs released a statement saying:
A statement from execs of Marvel and Netflix reads:
“Unfortunately, Marvel’s Luke Cage will not return for a third season”. Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem’s Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.”
Sources say the show was canceled due to creative differences.
