Kanye West has decided to make a change. The rapper has informed his followers on Twitter that he will no longer be involving himself in politics after realizing that someone was using him. This comes after West publicly supported the agenda of Donald Trump and those on the right wing.
In a series of tweets Ye said “My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in.” He also wrote. “I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative.”
It seems as though something went wrong between Kanye and conservative Candace Owens who was creating a new clothing line entitled “Blexit” which encouraged black folks to leave the Democratic party and take their talents to the GOP.
He said:
“I introduced Candace [Owens, conservative commentator] to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine,” he wrote. “I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.”
