The end of 2018 is looking really good for Drake. He’s been named the most globally streamed artist by Spotify. In 2018 Drizzy raked up over 8.2 billion streams and became the most streamed artist in the history of Spotify. Drake’s Scorpion and “God’s Plan” ended up being the most streamed album and song of the year.
Apple Music also named him as their “Best of 2018” due to his success on the Top 100 Global Albums Chart.
