Rapper and former star of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta has decided to cooperate with the state of Georgia in his felony drug case. The one time VH1 reality star has copped a plea that will allow him to avoid jail time according to TMZ.
Benzino plead guilty to 3 drug related charges and was sentenced to 2 years of probation with a $500 fine.
This plea agreement comes after Benzino was arrested in January 2017 after his home was raided and cops found drugs. He was charged with felony possession of THC oil gummies (22 grams), felony possession of 6 MDMA pills, and misdemeanor possession of less than an ounce of weed.
By taking the pleas Benzino avoided a possible 15 years in prison.
