North Carolina’s very own J. Cole will headline the 2019 NBA All-Star Game halftime show in less than a month.

The festivities will take place in Charlotte and will give Cole a chance to perform in front of a crowd that is about 3 hours away from his hometown of Fayetteville. An avid fan of basketball, Cole will use this platform as the opportunity to promote his recently completed “Revenge of the Dreamers III” compilation album.

After releasing his first single “Middle Child” last week, Cole has had the industry thirsting for more and wanting to see what the end result of those recording sessions down in Atlanta will be.

Philly’s Meek Mill will also get some shine at this year’s All Star game. He has been chosen to open up the night by introducing the teams playing in the big game. Charlotte’s Anthony Hamilton will perform the National Anthem.
