The drama surrounding actor Jussie Smollett has just taken another weird turn. The Chicago Police Department has officially named Jussie as a suspect for filing a false police report when he claimed that he was attacked by two men in Chicago.
According to TMZ:
Detectives are currently presenting evidence to a Cook County Grand Jury. With the two brothers now at the center of the story reportedly being the courthouse now and are expected to testify about their involvement.
Smollett’s employers over at 20th Century Fox and Fox Entertainment released a statement supporting Jussie:
“Jussie Smollett continues to be a consummate professional on set and as we have previously stated, he is not being written out of the show.”
