There is no stopping Ty Dolla Sign and taking him away from the path that he has ahead for himself. Prosecutors in Atlanta have agreed on a deal with the Atlanta rapper in his drug possession case that will not only allow him to be a free man but also wipe his record clean.

According to TMZ, Ty Dolla Sign struck a deal with prosecutors that would have him entering an online drug prevention program and make him subject to testing for 13 weeks. If Ty can stay clean and meet the necessary requirements, 2 felonies and a misdemeanor will disappear.

This deal is part of a program that Georgia calls Second Chance and Ty ended up needing it after he was caught in September with cocaine and pot in his luggage (allegedly).

Ty Dolla Sign, who was born Tyrone William Griffin Jr., is facing 15 years after being charged with felony possession of cocaine, felony possession of THC, and misdemeanor possession of less than one ounce of weed after cops reportedly found drugs in his bag back in September. Now with Georgia’s Second Chance program, this deal could be huge for Ty and it could literally save his life and career.

The deal was struck after Ty’s attorney, Steve Sadow, met with prosecutors and pointed out weaknesses in the case.
