Tekashi69 on Angie Martinez

Rapper Tekashi69 thinks he may have a shot at freedom in the near future. Sources say that Tekashi is making moves to be released from prison later this year if things go according to his lawyers plans…but he’s going to need the guys that he snitched on to help him out.

Tekashi has already plead guilty to federal racketeering charges, but there are some members of his former gang who have not gone to trial yet. Tekashi and his lawyers are hoping that all of the others take deals when they go to trial in September, considering the evidence against them all.

According to Tekashi’s attorney, if that happens they plan on asking a judge to grant their client with a sentence that only consists of time served instead of the 47 years in prison that he is facing. IF the judge agrees, Tekashi could walk free because he has already fulfilled the obligation of his cooperation agreement.

One defendant has already filed a motion to have all of his charges dismissed, which seems like he will not be willing to cop a plea.
