They don’t call #Drake the GOAT, for nothing. The #OVO artist has broken the record for the number of Billboard Music Awards received by an artist of all time.
Drake holds 27 Billboard awards to his name. He won the award for The Top Artist at the 2019 Billboard Awards yesterday. He beat #CardiB , #ArianaGrande , #TravisScott and #PostMalone . During his acceptance speech he took the time to thank his mother for her relentless effort in his life during his acceptance speech.
Drake stated “No matter how long it took me to figure out what I wanted to do, you were always there to give me a ride and now we’re all on one hell of a ride”.
Drake took home a number of awards along with the biggest award of the night including Top Streaming Songs, Top Rap artist and top Billboard 200 album for his ‘Scorpion’ album. Congratulations, Drake! This is well deserved.
