With all that has been buzzing about rapper #KodakBlack , we are happy to share that he recently spend $12,500 of his own money to purchase at least 7,600 notebooks for all of the students that attend Cleburne Independent School District in Texas. He teamed up with a 14-year old student by the name of Paige Cook.
Kodak is known for some philanthropic work. In the past, he donated $10,000 to a non-profit organization that provided early childhood education. This was almost immediately after he was released from jail. He also started a toy drive where he ended up donating Christmas toys to about 150 children during the holidays last year.
We are still waiting on updated news regarding his last instance with the police. If you missed it, #Kodak was scheduled for a show when he turned up missing. It turns out, he was arrested for drug and weapon possession. We are still following this story.
