Millennials rejoice! One of your favorite early- late 2000’s shows is returning! Diddy has announced that Making The Band will be returning to MTV in 2020! Making The Band brought us the likes of Da Band (Cheesecake anyone?), Danity Kane, and Day 26.
The show was one of the first of its kind – acting as a bootcamp for emerging and upcoming artists, with a group being chosen and formed and releasing a project.
Diddy teased at bringing the show back last week, and with BET having just Launched a similar show, The Next Big Thing, the timing couldn’t be better.
I’ve made my decision… #MakingTheBand is coming back!!! This will be a global talent search, upload your auditions now using #MTBcasting!!
No word on if previous winners/ groups will appear. Artists will be able to upload their submissions via youtube, and other social networking sites with the hashtag #MTBCasting.
