Kirk Franklin has been making his mark on the music scene for a long time now. The gospel music legend has been on the road lately promoting his new album ‘Long Live Love,’ which has became the first album in history to top all five Billboard Gospel charts at the same time.
Executives at Sony have decided to give Kirk his own biopic that will be produced by DeVon Franklin through his Franklin Entertainment company. Franklin and his Fo Yo Soul Entertainment imprint will handle executive producer duties. The film will be written by Brian Ivey and will document Franklin’s life from his early years to his rise to stardom and through the demons that he has battled in the process.
