Actor Wesley Snipes has been cast in the new sequel to Eddie Murphy’s “Coming To America” The film will be produced by Murphy, Kenya Barris and Kevin Misher. Arsenio Hall has already signed on to reprise the role of Semmi, and Murphy will play Prince Akeem. Both characters were featured in the 1998 original film.
In the new movie Prince Akeem finds out that he has a long-lost son and has to make his way back to America in order to meet the child who is next in line to rule Zamunda.
Snipes will play a character named General Izzi who is the ruler of a neighboring African nation. Production on the film has already began.
