In other out of this world news…. The Jackson Family Foundation will mark the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death with “Forever Michael,” a red carpet celebration in Beverly Hills featuring performances honoring the late singer.

“The vision is to bring together Michael Jackson family members, celebrities, fans, supporters and the community to celebrate and honor his legacy,” event organizer VoicePlate Productions told People.com.

Now this seems like a great idea. I mean if anyone should be honored and have their memory celebrated it should be an icon like Mike right. But before you get to much into the spirit of what’s right you should always note that the event which will be open to the public, will be held on June 26 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Tickets — $500 for VIP tickets and $250 for general admission — can be purchased on VoicePlate.com. Tickets are $500 dollars I mean is Michael going to be making a special moon walking cameo or something. You might be better off waiting for the televised version.
