More NC DMV Offices to Offer Saturday Walk-In Hours This Summer

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles is expanding its Saturday walk-in hours for the summer, with 20 offices across the state — up from 16 last year — now participating.
These locations will operate from 8 a.m. to noon on 11 Saturdays between May 31 and August 23, except for June 28 and July 5, when offices will be closed in observance of the July 4 holiday.
New locations joining the list this year include offices in Elizabeth City, Clayton, Durham East, and Kernersville. In Raleigh, the East location will now offer Saturday hours, replacing last year’s Raleigh North site.
Nearly 17,000 customers used the Saturday service last summer, according to the NCDMV.
