SHOWTIME SAYS… The New York Fire Department had to rescue 25 people by boat early this morning as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The fire in Queens, New York destroyed five buildings. The NYFD had to use a boat to get to the people due to the heavily flooded streets.

SHOWTIME SAYS… An explosion at one of New York electric company Con Edison’s transformers was caught on tape earlier this evening. The explosion was a direct result of hurricane Sandy and caused many blackouts across New York City. This video is crazy…as you would expect, water and electricity just don’ mix.
